After a lot of thought and deliberation I decided that I wanted to open my own store, with places for designers, aside from myself. So whether you're just beginning to find your place in the digi-scrap world or you've been around the block a time or two, this may be the new home you're looking for.

Back From Vacation

Well, we made it back from Vacation in one piece. I was a little redder than when I left, but it was worth every second. We had such a good time and it was great just to chill! We didn't have anything touristy things planned. We just went to the beach, did some crabbing, swam...it was wonderful. We're actually planning on going again next year!

Anyway, I have updated all the dead links on my page! FINALLY, I know I'm a procrastinator! I have added 4Shared links to all of them as well. So that way, you have a choice of who you would like to download from.

Be sure to keep your eyes peeled! My new store is about ready to open! And I have a special announcement forthcoming!

New Beginnings

Life just plain sux sometimes. LOL! You know it's true, don't even try to deny it. But sometimes in order for life not to sux like a hoover you need to change. And change is a good thing.

Pink Krush is no more. After having been hacked twice! TWICE! My hosting suggested that I change the name. So I have and it's......

And yes, you did see the word my hosting. I co-owned the store with two other great ladies, Monica and Balinda. Both decided to no longer but give their kits away for free. So that's great. You can check out both their blogs!

Well, thanks to Rapidshare being a pain in my backside, all the links that were on this blog are now broken, hoooray!
So i am in the process of uploading those again. So please give me a little time. Hopefully i should have them repaired by the weekend.

Speaking of this weekend, my family and I are heading out to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I can hardly wait. This will be my son Payton's first trip to the ocean and Jayden's second. I haven't been since i was preggers with Payton and I looked like a gigantic orange whale. So this is going to be great!

Well, Here is a new blog layout! And you can get it, right now, for free! That's right, a full blog layout, including 2 headers, 2 buttons and one background! This uses elements from my Kit 2 Emo 4 U, which hasn't even hit stores yet! Hope you like it.

Supplies

Tube Of Your Choice, I am using Ed Mironuk. He is currently licensed through CILM. Please check out their website here for more information.

Birthday Celebration Tagger Kit found Here

This is a PTU kit and cannot be supplied.

Xero Filter

Font of your Choice. I picked Bubblegum Superstar which is a free font found here

Tutorial

1. Open a new Image 600 x 600.

2. Flood fill with white.

3. Choose a paper of your liking from the kit. Paste as a new layer.

4. Go To layers>Load/save mask and find your mask that has been supplied.

5. Apply your mask with the following settings.

6. Right click on your material pallet, merge>merge group

7. Go to effects>3d Effects>Drop Shadow with these settings. Horizontal & vertical 1 Opacity 85 and blur 10.00. Color change to a darker shade of your papers color.

8. Open the "Celebrate" word art and copy and paste it as a new layer. Posistion it to your liking. I placed mine top, center.

9 Copy and paste your tube, applying a drop shadow of your choice.

10. Click on your paper/mask layer and duplicate three times. Rename these three layers 1,2 and 3. Make layer one active.

11. Go to Effect and find Xero Fritillary filter. Use the following settings.

12. X out layer 1 and activate layer 2. Using your Xero Fritillary filter again, change the varation setting to 30.

13. X out layer 2 and activate layer 3. Using your Xero Fritillary Filter for a third time, change the varation setiing to 25.

14. Using elements from the kit, add embellishments to your tag, using as many or a few as you like.

15. Add your copyright info and your info.

16. For your name pick a font that you like and write to out, using colors of your choice.

CU Word Art Feebie

As I was making my newest kit, My Crush, it was suggested to me by India that I add some word art to the kit. I took her advice and made up some very simple sequin word art.
